Sylvia Scow | Indigenous Navigator – Canada Learning Bond (CLB)

Sylvia Scow is from Liidlli Kue (Fort Simpson), NWT.  She is Dene from the Deh Cho Region.  Sylvia has lived on Coast Salish territory since 1985 and has 32 years of experience working in post-secondary education starting at the University of Victoria and recently retiring from Vancouver Island University after 27 years. 

Sylvia has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Victoria and a Masters in Leadership from Royal Roads University. 

She is the mother of two and currently resides in Snuneymuxw Territory with her husband.  She is excited to continue working in communities in her role as Canada Learning Bond Indigenous Navigator.
